The Friendship of the Oven and The Fridge - Rishona Chopra

Hello my friends! Oh wait, don't hug me just now, you see I am very hot, I might burn you and then you would never talk to me again. Well, why am I so hot that no one can touch me? I was born this way and I am not proud of it! I hate it, I need more coldness in life, I deserve to be colder and not warmer. Because of this very extra ordinary blessing, which is really not a blessing, I don't have many friends but I have one best friend and that is Fridge. Now this was my side of the story, let's hear it from Fridge!

Hey there! As you might have guessed, I am very cold and I truly need more warmth.Even though I am cold I do not have a cold heart but I very warm and caring one. It's lucky that our owners kept oven and me together. He gives me warmth and I give him the touch of coldness he needs. Our lives have been extraordinarily twisted but we made the best of it!

It's because of you - Rishona Chopra

It is because of you - that is what we say. We blame people for our troubles and failures, and believe me, even you do. If you get a cold, you blame another person in the family who also had a cold. You don't blame yourself for having a weak immune system! If you couldn't go somewhere, then you blame the weather. When you spill water on your t-shirt, you blame the person who bumped into you.

When we blame others, we are avoiding some truth about ourselves. We can blame other planets for our fault; we blame nature, people, and even our parents! It's always easy to blame but challenging to find and correct your faults. This also connects with one of Dr Sibal's values - Making mistakes, and accepting flaws.

Autobiography of socks - Rishona Chopra

I am a (sniffing) sock. You might think I have a cold as I sniff, and you are absolutely right. My job is to protect people from the cold, and I am so sincere with my job that I end up getting a cold myself. I have a wonderful uniform that has black and white patches on it and some sparkling glitter on it, so you can imagine how beautiful my uniform is! As I said, many people use me for keeping them protected from the cold. You must think I have an easy job, but I do not. People throw me into the washing machine when I get dirty, and that reckless creature throws water and foam on me!

You might not like the people who stay in the dirt, but you will be stunned to know that I love them. Why? Well, dirty people wear me for a more extended period, so I don’t have to go in the washing machine and get a fever! I really don’t want to make myself ill.
