What Jai Hind means to me -Vaibhav Jaiswal

We learned today that willpower is essential, which gives us something to fight with in every situation.

We learned about passion through education, which makes our lives interesting, wonderful, and joyous.

Once, Ratan Tata said Collect the stones that people throw at you and use them to build a monument.

"What Might Not Have Been....☮️ -Oshi Singh

 What Might Not Have Been…

When two nations are at war, the fight is not only among the nations or the soldiers but also between innocent lives- the fight between life and death. During times like these, the quality of cooperation helps us a lot. Cooperation is a quality which helps us to co-exist and create a world where we can all live without fear. I mean, let's imagine a world with no fights. A world full of people moving around freely with no fear. Many might say it isn't possible, but being the optimistic person I am, I say it 'IS POSSIBLE'. Not immediately, but gradually it is.

Speaking of wars, here is a poem which captures the emotions of a soldier who lost his mom in the war, but didn't he do the same to so many other people? What is right and what is wrong will he ever figure out? Or will he ever UNDERSTAND? Is this karma?

Something to ponder on...

It was the last time I saw her.

The last time I saw her big blue eyes shine like stars in the night sky.

The last time I saw her silky hair brush against the wind.

The last time I heard her high-pitched voice.

I remember she was as busy as a bee,

Yet as calm as one can be.

Her heart was like an empty stage

And her love, if I may?

Her love was like a tornado in a jar.

Among all the untold stories of the war,

It was hers which hurt me the most, perhaps.

Because she was my mother.

Sometimes I wonder why did it have to be HER?

With her gone, I feel like a river flowing into the unknown.

With her gone, I feel like a falling star.

Now I am stuck in a cruel world full of strangers.

Now I am stuck in a prison with no escape.

If only I were wise and not otherwise.

If only I realised the right and the wrong.

If only I had fought with words and not guns.

If only I had listened from within.

This, might not have been

Goodbye 2022! - Rishona Chopra

2022 was a year full of joy,
 Some were days to enjoy.
The year when we started offline school,
The year of playing in the pool!
The year of friendships,
It was better since,
We had new experiences!
Some days were sad for all,
We felt small.
Broken friendships,
Drowned ships.
Endless fights,
Sleepless Nights.
Some trouble all of us faced,
But they can be replaced,
I believe that the next year could be better,
If we don't become forgetters.
Improve our mistakes from the past year,
And make our minds clear.
Some mistakes we made,
Some difficulties we faced!
But let's learn from the last year,
And improve this year!!

The Art of Focus - Anvesha Rana

Handling other people is a tedious task, and that, too, with care becomes even more difficult. We expect the best treatment, facilities and equipment when it comes to us, but we seldom realize that to receive the best, we also need to treat others at our best. Treat others the way you wish to be treated.

Each flower in a garden is unique, yet they all wave off different fragrances. All five fingers are not equal, yet they have additional capabilities to help us. Our unity lies in our diversity; we are together because we are different. We should learn to respect the differences of each individual and have the courage to be who we are and not be what others think we should be.

Life is best seen as a constant journey in which sometimes we run, walk, crawl, slither, but all matters is that we keep going on. Even if sometimes we fall back and reach square one, we should have the strength to fight back and be even stronger because that is how we take our learning forward.

Patience - Rishona Chopra

We are celebrating Love this month!

Patience is not simply the ability to wait, it’s how we behave while we are waiting. ~Joyce Meyer

Patience is the biggest virtue one needs to achieve something. It is not the ability to wait but to keep a good attitude while waiting. While working in a team, we require patience; a student involves patience, a teacher, and a doctor in our daily life. Patience is one thing that can solve all problems. Doesn't it feel great when somebody listens to you patiently? In the book - Totto-chan, the Headmaster patiently understands students and talks and listens to them. The school wouldn't be that unique and extraordinary if he were impatient. Patience can be used in the smallest of things. Imagine you are waiting for a printout for your school project, and the printer isn't working! That is so annoying! You keep getting annoyed, and instead of waiting until the paper comes out, you restart it repeatedly. If you do that, the printer would be annoyed and ultimately stop working or work even slower. On the other hand, if you wait patiently for the paper to come out, it could. Although having patience is annoying, it is necessary as you might get into a fight with someone too! Like you got into a battle with the printer in the above example. Patience is more than a virtue for long lines and slow waiters.

Patience is the red carpet upon which God's grace approaches us.

Teamwork - Anaghaa Gawde and Hardik Rane

Once upon a time, three girls lived, named Kareena, Rina and Katrina. Kareena and Katrina would always fight. They would talk to each other only after solving their problems.

One day their sister Rina got kidnapped by a thief! It was upon them to save her; they searched and searched; after 4 to 5 hours, they found her in a dungeon, tied up with a granny knot to a pole, a tape piece on the mouth, hands, and legs tied tightly with rope. They both fought to open the granny knot; each one of them tried to open the knot but could not open it. So, they finally worked together. The knot was opened. They did the same with the other 2 knots.

That’s how they found out the importance of teamwork. This shows that teamwork leads to better outcomes.

Friendship - Samruddhi Patankar

Friendship is not always easy to get. Sometimes we need to achieve it. While making friends, we may get many difficulties but never give up. Always try and try. Everyone says try-try but never cry. So, I also needed to fight, and I achieved it, but sometimes that was so simple nobody could think.

Which time I fought and when I didn’t

  • When I wanted to make friends with Saanvi, I had to fight.
  • When I tried to make a friendship with Dhrit, that was very simple and easy.

I value their friendship, and that is why I tried.

Patience - Rishona Chopra

Patience it's just a word, right? It simply means to wait without being annoyed. That's easy. But then imagine you waiting for a printout for your school project, and the printer just isn't working! That is so annoying! You keep getting annoyed, and instead of waiting till the paper comes out, you keep restarting it again and again. If you do that, the printer would be annoyed too and would ultimately stop working or work even slower.

On the other hand, if you wait patiently for the paper to come out, then it could. Although having patience is annoying, it is necessary as you might get into a fight with someone too! Like you got a battle with the printer in the above example.

For me, having patience is a bit difficult. Like when I complete something in class that the other students have not finished yet. It is a little difficult to wait for others to complete it. But I am working on that.

Patience is a bit difficult but necessary!

Responsibility - Himanshi Rajpurohit

COVID-19 spreads primarily from person to person.

Stay Home, Stay Safe
We all know that nowadays what is going on around us. It is such a difficult time for all of us, but soon we hope to be relieved from this situation. For this we have to be first be very responsible about maintaining proper distance among people; wearing a mask; sanitising hands every  10 - 15 minutes and after touching anything outside the house. However, being responsible doesn't mean that if you are wearing a mask and then you change and throw off the previous mask here and there. This is big irresponsible because in being safe you are harming our nature by throwing such things anywhere.

COVID-19 spreads primarily from person to person. Fighting this disease is our joint responsibility. Protect yourself and others by making some simple precautions in our daily life like while coughing or sneezing we should cover our mouth with our elbow. We should also avoid touching our mouth, eyes, and nose when we are outside.

Most importantly we should clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Let us become responsible and fight together against the COVID-19 Pandemic.
