Being Grateful- Monika Singh Pundir

In my words, be grateful for a thing, no matter how small or big, we should appreciate it and make the best use of it.

When somebody is in very need of something, we can help that person in need, it would be a very big thing for the person and can even change a person's life. The person may remember the thing done for him or her. The person will be thankful as well as grateful for the help.

But being grateful for someone doesn't mean one should always bow before the person to whom the person is grateful and do everything, wrong or right, for that person who is providing the things to you.

A Cause That Is Dear To Me - Keyura Rao Cheeti

Reflection from reading the book.

Everyone is connected and moved by what is happening around them. They must decide if they need to take up a cause and bring about change. They are reasons for action to be taken or action to happen. For something good to happen, the cause needs to be good too. It gives us a reason to live. I have thought about this since a very young age. My heart aches to see poor people begging on the road. Older people are beggars too. They have a right to live happily, too. I would like to set up a charity for them when I get older. In the charity, people will donate money, clothes, food etc. We will provide them with good education and ensure they get a job to live independently. We will set a small goal first, and if we achieve that, we move on to completing something bigger, thereby trying and making sure that they have a good life. They need to live as peacefully as we do. We must take care of them as our responsibility as good citizens. We can educate others on how to help them.

My foolish mistake - Aati Pema Tseagon

Looking back, I have made many mistakes in my life, but some stand out more than others, and even now, when I recall them, I see that although they were unintentional but still almost deliberate and foolish.

I was raised in Ladakh, where even today, children like me go to the rivers to swim even when we know it's not allowed. One day when my friends and I went to another one of these spots, I fell after slipping on a rock while crossing a stream and almost got swept away. I shook it off and continued on after reaching, I was the first to jump into the river and as soon as I did, I felt a sharp pain in my knee and saw that blood was rushing out; my friends at once helped me out of the river and took me back on the way back we met an adult who was lucky a nurse and helped me. Not being in a position to do much, I had 4 to 5 stitches on my knee by a stranger; talk about foolish!

After that, my mother found out, and I rightly got scolded for this. I have shared my foolish mistake with you and hope you enjoyed it and are inspired by me not to repeat what I have done. Thank you, and have a great day.

Courage - Aavansh Gupta

Courage is to control fear in a situation that may be dangerous or

unpleasant. You can swim in oceans, climb up mountains or go to

space. But the main point is that not everybody dares to do

that. Everybody wants comfort. You can choose courage or

comfort, but you can’t choose both.

So, let me share a self-composed poem that could inspire everyone reading.

THIS IS COURAGE

YOU CAN USE IT AT ANY AGE

WHETHER YOU ARE A SIMPLE MAN OR A SAGE

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS COURAGE

IF YOU ARE A CHILD

NOT EVEN TEN

AND SEE YOUR FRIEND GOING

INTO A DANGEROUS-LOOKING DEN

DO NOT RUN AWAY

AND QUICKLY GO AND SAY

YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY

NOW COME WITH ME AND PLAY

IT WILL SAVE THE BOY

FROM GETTING EATEN BY A LEONINE

IF HE JUST SAYS THANK YOU

THAT IS ALSO FINE

YOU HELPED THE BOY

HE WILL RETURN THE FAVOUR TO YOU AT ANY AGE

YOU HELPED THE BOY FEARLESSLY

THIS IS CALLED COURAGE

Trust - Divya Rathore

Trust, in simple terms, is faith in another person, despite a lack of an assured outcome. One characteristic that makes trust unique is its fragility. To gain the trust of parents or friends, one must continuously prove one's honesty and reliability.

Among all my friends, I trust only Sanyogita because she always motivates me and helps me in any kind of situation. Due to my financial problem, I couldn't join all online classes, and my work was also incomplete. I asked all my friends to help me, but not even a single friend could help me. I was quite disappointed. Then Sanyogita, my classmate, came and told me not to get upset and said she would help me with all my work. That act of Sanyogita made me feel happy and proud that at least there was someone who helped me in my time of need.

I realized that living in the world these days is hard because people are no longer honest and helpful. Being dishonest always causes problems that can lead to someone getting offered. It seems that there is someone who can help you in everyday life and someone who kills you by their words and nature. I think every person should help others. They should understand each other's problems, their situation, their feelings and show empathy towards others. We can only trust a person when someone understands us. As Sanyogita understood my problem, now I can easily trust her. At last, I would like to sum it up by quoting that 'A friend in need is a friend indeed.'

Caring - Arindita

Caring means to be kind or concerned about something. For example, helping someone shows you care for the person. Caring is essential as it benefits both you and the person you care for. It is very similar to kindness and respect. It creates happiness and love; it even makes you a better person. Caring doesn't necessarily mean to help someone or do something big, even simple acts of kindness count. There are many ways you can care for something:

You can help someone if they are struggling to do something.

You can also make someone feel better by having good talks with them

You can provide something to someone if they need it.

You can respect them.

And many more ways.

A simple act of kindness can make a huge difference, Care for others.

Happiness - Chahna Gandhi

What does happiness mean to me?

Happiness to me is an important part of life, as it brings in positive vibes and makes one’s day better.

What makes me happy?

I would say there's nothing that makes me happy, nor I can’t list all of them. Here are a few:

 1. Being with friends: This always brings joy and cool vibes as the fun n frolic makes me happy.

 2. Music: Listening to music always helps me forget things and lifts up my mood, which obviously makes me happy “... and if it’s my genre, then it’s much fun.”

3. Being with family: Well! Who doesn’t like to be with family, share good and embarrassing memories, and laugh at them together?

4: Dance: Dance is one thing where my mind is totally on the beats and music. It takes over my body, refreshes it and helps me open up my mind to new ideas.

 How to pass on happiness?

There are a lot of ways by which you can either share or pass your happiness to others.  You can suggest ways of being happy. This can help them go through their hard times by creating their own happy zones. Another way of passing on happiness is to care for them. Help them in things they can’t do or need help. This will make them happy as they know that they can believe in you during their rough times.
