Why is forgiveness important? - Ritesh Gaire

Forgiveness is an act of letting go of the past and making ourselves light of the burden that we get because of some specific reasons.

It is good to forgive one, not to make him or her sound, but to make yourself light of the burden we hold in our minds. Some mistakes can be overlooked easily, but some go so deep in our hearts that we get many problems. Holding on to emotions and not letting go of past memories can affect us in many ways. It affects our concentration, health, and many other daily activities. For example, we get into arguments with our friends often, and when we don't talk with them after an argument, it feels very bad, and our hearts feel heavy until we forgive and forget it.

It is perfect to forgive. Forgiveness does not always come from the inside, but sometimes, we must move on. Forgiveness builds good relationships with each other. It does not completely repair the broken relationship, but slowly and gradually, it improves it. Hence, forgiveness is essential.

A cause that matters to me - Aria Gupta

Future. People say this word a lot of times nowadays. Everyone wants a promising future. It’s not like some students will come to their parents and say, “ Mom, Dad, I wanna be a failure”. But is it pulling an all-nighter every day just to study for some exam? Is it really worth studying seven hours a day and burning yourself out? Is it worth avoiding all sorts of fun just to prepare for the future?. I personally love having fun. I cannot imagine how a person survives without it. Fun is essential in life.

But why have fun when you can spend that time studying?

I’m not saying don’t study; it is beneficial. But fun makes you love life, and when you love life, it can motivate you to keep going even in the worst possible situation.

To sum it up, preparing for the future is good, but don’t burn yourself out. Have fun too.

Reflection on the experience of changing schools - Aayushma Gaha

We know that we go to school not only to learn subjects but we learn new skills as well as social skills. Sometimes we change our school because, for some reason, it might be because of money issues or the school being far or needing more attention for studies. It can be many reasons.

My experience of changing a school. Earlier I was in Carman School currently I am studying in Cambrian Hall. The reason behind changing schools was because of not getting much attention in school and in Carman School there was not much opportunity for any skills or for sports. When I changed schools I was both, happy and sad. I was sad because I had made many friends and was quite popular in school because of my academics as well as Athletics. When I said popular it is kind of praising ourselves but it was true. However, there was not that much athletics.

The reason I was happy was because I was going to meet many more people. As we say that we people think, of new possibilities and in Cambrian Hall, there are sports and also academics. Now it has been one month already and has communicated with teachers and made many friends.

My experience of changing schools was really good and sometimes I think that every year we should change our school and we would learn many new things!

Ikigai - Rishona Chopra

I am on my journey to find my Ikigai,
While wishing I,
Could see it sooner.
But little do I know,
That my journey,
Is an army,
To find my ikigai,
And that itself is an ikigai.
All ambitions and dreams,
Half-fulfilled streams.
Never have I felt this passion.
To find my meaning for being.

We all were born to do something. But this question always encounters us - What is my reason for being? The beautiful part is that knowing this takes a long journey for most people. Some of us already know our passion - our reason for being.

It's okay if you don't. It's a journey that has to enjoy. Have you ever felt that by watching a movie related to space, you want to become an astronaut or perhaps by watching a few video games, you want to be a creator?

Many people have gone through this journey, and you know you don't really have to put in any effort. Life unfolds itself with its wonders. Let it.
