Be a Dreamer - Rishona Chopra

Based on the chapter Be a dreamer by Dr Anupam Sibal from Is Your Child Ready to face the world.

Having dreams is something we all must-have. I don't mean dreams that you get while sleeping; I am
talking about ambitions that we must have. We have come to Earth to play our part to be something that can help Earth and others' lives.

Take the example of Abraham Lincon -
Abraham Lincon had a dream to put an end to slavery. He had that dream which many of us thought impossible, but Lincon made it possible. Even though he had to face many problems, he didn't give up on his dream and look what he did, he banned slavery in most places!!

So that was something he did. He played his part.
Of Course, it is essential to have a dream, but we must work hard for a dream to come true.

Making Mistakes, Accepting Flaws - Arav Agarwal

Based on the chapter Making Mistakes, Accepting Flaws, from the book is your child ready to face the world by Dr Anupam Sibal.

We are humans, we tend to make mistakes, and we should accept the mistakes. We should reflect and learn from our mistakes and not repeat the same mistakes.

Let’s take the example of Thomas Edison. When he invented the light bulb, he failed 999 times! Then in an interview, he was asked how was it like to fail 999 times. He said, “I did not fail 999 times but only found 999 ways of how not to invent the light bulb.” Every time he made a mistake, he learned from it and improved. Imagine if he had given up and not learned from his mistakes, our life would be without light.

We should not expect everyone to be flawless in everything. There is a beautiful story in this book called the two pots. It teaches us that we should see goodness in our flaws. We should accept it, and mistakes are a part of our growth in our life.

Courage - Aavansh Gupta

Courage is to control fear in a situation that may be dangerous or

unpleasant. You can swim in oceans, climb up mountains or go to

space. But the main point is that not everybody dares to do

that. Everybody wants comfort. You can choose courage or

comfort, but you can’t choose both.

So, let me share a self-composed poem that could inspire everyone reading.

THIS IS COURAGE

YOU CAN USE IT AT ANY AGE

WHETHER YOU ARE A SIMPLE MAN OR A SAGE

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS COURAGE

IF YOU ARE A CHILD

NOT EVEN TEN

AND SEE YOUR FRIEND GOING

INTO A DANGEROUS-LOOKING DEN

DO NOT RUN AWAY

AND QUICKLY GO AND SAY

YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY

NOW COME WITH ME AND PLAY

IT WILL SAVE THE BOY

FROM GETTING EATEN BY A LEONINE

IF HE JUST SAYS THANK YOU

THAT IS ALSO FINE

YOU HELPED THE BOY

HE WILL RETURN THE FAVOUR TO YOU AT ANY AGE

YOU HELPED THE BOY FEARLESSLY

THIS IS CALLED COURAGE
