Freedom - Linisha Agarwal

Freedom and privilege both are the most debatable terms today.

Freedom is the ability to make choices and to carry them out successfully.

Freedom to me is to be ready to make decisions and choices
independently, keeping consequences in mind, to be prepared to breathe willingly. Freedom is something that everyone wants and deserves as a gift.

Freedom is the most significant thing in my life to live confidently and respectfully. Keeping this in mind, I can say that you, me, and we all have Freedom but still crib for petty things; instead, we should think about those unfortunate who don t even experience essential Freedom. Some might consider freedom a license to do whatever they wish to do with no restrictions, forgetting that their duties complement this term.

Freedom is that choice to measure your life in terms of doing what you & like to, to live where you'd like to, and most importantly, to seek out what your heart aspires. This suggests that Freedom can apply to different aspects of life.

What does Freedom mean for girls? In fact, Freedom for a girl is not about being able to do the things like a boy, but freedom lets her choose and decide what she wants. Moreover, Freedom is often known as a state of mind where you have the right and liberty of doing what you can dream of. Also, you can feel Freedom from within. It is the power to act according to our own will. And to enjoy Freedom, you should free yourself from negative thoughts and be optimistic.

To conclude, I would like to add that we should not ignore the fact -
With Freedom comes Responsibilities.

Compassion - Savyata Rijal

Compassion-the nature of humanity, it's the essence. It is to feel someone else's pain as one's own and act in a way to reduce that pain.

There is nobility in compassion, a beauty in empathy, a grace in forgiveness-
John Connolly.

Compassion and tolerance are not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength -
Dalai Lama

Now that we think about the word 'compassion', it probably makes us feel like we can do something like that. It makes us feel like we should stand up for the people and portray our compassion in our own small way.

I would share this example- how the founder of early 'Big Hit Entertainment' or today's 'Hybe Entertainment' stepped in and helped a now 'BTS' member 'Suga' debut during his training period! You probably wouldn't imagine, but even Min yoongi was not born into a wealthy family, he had difficulty; he struggled during that time because he had to decide between saving money for food or to use for the bus, he thought about losing his dream of debuting because of it. But then Mr Band Si Hyuk stepped in and gave him time to let up and pay for his tuition. He helped him debut and let us know the rapper 'suga'.

Not just Mr Bang Si Hyuk but also inspiring people like Mother Teresa have also been very compassionate. They inspire us and help us become a better person. Our parents also help us become better people, and they should never stop us from helping the ones in need. Parental support and guidance will help us become more sensitive and compassionate beings.

Joy Of Learning - Rishona Chopra

The Joy of Learning Diaries is a website where students can post their reflections on My Good School’s reading program every Sunday. They can literally post anything they want. We publish the Joy Of Learning Diaries, and our blogs go in an extensive diary where many students can post.

We connect the Joy Of Reading with the joy of writing by -

  • What we read in the reading session we reflect upon by writing.
  • What we have written can be converted into a podcast (audio file) - Joy of Speaking.
That is how My Good School connects the three joys.

In school, we learn academics, but at My Good School, we help improve and enhance the primary interests. We experience the joy of writing, reading and speaking. Apart from that, we have a few partner programs too. Like, Slooh  (Space Program) and Sportify (Sports Program).

Most important of all, students can become interns!

While being an intern sounds like a lot of hard work, it is straightforward as long as you like doing it. I am an intern, and I simply love it! I get blogs from other students and post them. I also make a few designs for My Good School, which is marvellous. Interns help grow the school too.

We learn with joy!!
