Friendship - Aryama Shukla

Life is a long journey, and your friends make it more cheerful. When you're sad, your friends make you smile, laugh and giggle and make your life fun. They help you to avoid obstacles in life. They support you when you are in need, and you should too. Not only that, but they also play with us and encourage us to do the right thing. We are stronger together. Some of my good friends are Janya, Mishika and Aarohi. They have the power to make me happy just by talking to me!

Besides humans, I have other friends too, some of them are animals and books. When I am in my house, I usually get bored. One day,  when I went to visit my big brother. I saw a dog !! He was named Jacky, and he was white in colour. I loved to play with him. He was very soft. Even though I cannot understand his language(he can't understand my language too :) ), my younger brother, my elder brother and I always understood him. I loved to go to my big brother's house to meet Jacky from then onwards.

Let me tell you a small story about how books became my friends. I was getting bored one day, so I asked my mother, "What should I do, Mom". My mother said, "Beta read books. They will become your best friends, and you will never get bored throughout your life". After some days I tried to read a book, slowly I started reading at a faster pace, and from then the journey of reading books started. I now love reading books :). That is how books became my friends.

Friendship - Ruhaan Chawla

I have a lot of friends among all Dhruv is my best friend. We have both been best friends since childhood. We both study in the same class and same school. In physical school, we used to sit together and share our tiffins. We also used to share our pencils and erasers. We both are of the same age. Our moms are also good friends. We went to picnic together. During the online session, if due to an internet problem I miss any class, Dhruv helps me by telling me what all did I miss in my class. I also help him if he misses any session. We both are lucky that we are best friends.

Be the Change- Aanya Kumar

‘Be the change’ are three inspiring but straightforward words. A simple explanation for this can be demonstrated with the help of an example. Imagine you see two people fighting. You immediately want to stop them. But then you take a step back and think, “Who am I to stop them when I fight?”

On the other hand, if we take the example of Mahatma Gandhi. One day, a lady and his son went to meet Bapu. After meeting him, she stated the problem was that her son ate too much jaggery and did not understand that it was harmful to his health. Gandhi Ji told both of them to revisit him after a few days. When they returned, he told the boy to stop eating jaggery as it could be dangerous to his health. The mother asked why Bapu couldn’t say that the first day they came. Bapu’s reply was that he had to stop eating jaggery himself before stopping the boy from doing the same. So before changing anyone, we first need to change ourselves. Practising before preaching could change the entire world into a peaceful living space.
