Reading For Pleasure and more from Sunbeam School Lahartara

READING FOR PLEASURE

We say that books are our best friends. to become their friends, we have to read them.

Reading gives us the opportunity to build ourselves; it helps us stand in front of people confidently.

People say that real life is not similar to books; it is all rubbish. Books prepare us for our lives. I also prefer to read books because they help me to be more creative, confident, and charismatic from within.

WE GET LITERATE BY STUDYING, AND WE GET EDUCATED BY READING.

LEARNING CAN ONLY HAPPEN IF THE LEARNING ATMOSPHERE IS POSITIVE

Life is no "brief candle" for me. It is a sort of "suffering torch," which I have a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before passing it on to future generations.

I am also exploring as much as I can.

THE IMPORTANCE OF TEACHERS IN OUR LIVES

Teachers are those who make children knowledgeable and cultured. A teacher is a beautiful gift given by God, as God is the creator of the whole world and a teacher is the creator of an entire nation. A teacher is such an important creature in the life of a student, who, through his knowledge, patience, and love, gives a strong shape to a student’s whole life. A teacher shares academic knowledge and ethical values and assimilates moral values that help us shape our personalities as better human beings. Teachers play a major role in shaping students' lives and futures.

A CAREER TRANSITION PROCESS

A career transition refers to the process of discovering and pursuing a new career. Also known as a career shift or change, a career transition entails the act of seeking an occupation other than your present one. For instance, you start your career in accounting and subsequently move into technology.

STORY OF FANTASY

"There is more treasure in books than in all the pirates' loot on Treasure Island... "

I used to love to hear stories or novels from others, but I was much happier when a book was written for me. I love when students go to the library and search for books on me and try to find them on the internet. I love when some schools ask for books with stories about fantasy, and they crave me. It gives me immense happiness.

Also, children of all ages take a lot of interest in reading me and sometimes melt into my world and feel happy. I feel really content to be with enthusiastic children.

My Golden Journey With My Good School and more from Sunbeam Hostel Lahartara

My Golden Journey With My Good School

At first, I wasn't interested in reading. I thought that it was only a waste of time. Still, at the age of 12, my grandfather recommended a book. He said that if you like to study political science and history, you should read "Why I Assassinated Mahatma Gandhi" by "Nathuram Godse." I gave it a try, and I loved it. After that, I read more and more books, but when I joined My Good School, I felt that this was the place for me. Like we say, 'Birds with the same feather flock together'. For readers, My Good School is a paradise from my perspective. A famous quote by Fran Lebowitz that I carry in my mind is, "Think before you speak and read before you think." Every Sunday, I learn a new perspective to go with. A huge thanks to My Good School for this because the school teaches me values to live by.

How Learning Can Happen

Learning happens when we start experiencing. The learning process begins when we start experiencing things in our surroundings. Whether through reading or listening. When we read it, it is the biggest weapon to win all the battles of life. Listening to TED talks and podcasts increases our learning, and we learn new words.

Learning always makes a change in oneself, so never stop reading, writing, and listening.

"Learning is never done without mistakes and passion".

No one has achieved success in the past or present and has not done any hard work. Also, they had yet to achieve success on their first attempt. Success comes to those who find out their mistakes and improve on them. They take the time and opportunities to come; they create the opportunities and manage the time to do so. This is the best and easiest way to achieve good things in their lives.

"Being well' comes before 'well being' - Nishan Karki

“He who has health has hope and he who has hope has everything.”      – Arabian Proverb

Being well indeed comes before our well-being. Being well means being healthy and happy. Health is definitely wealth, which we all have to look towards. Being healthy means not only the absence of disease or sickness, but also how peaceful you are from within, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and, of course, physically.

Maintaining a fit body, eating right, and going to the gym are not the only things that people must work towards to achieve a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is one in which there is a balance between everything we do. The components of a healthy lifestyle include eating right, sleeping enough, keeping ourselves clean, meditating, thinking right, exercising, listening to good music, talking right, performing and engaging in healthy activities, exhibiting good manners and behavior, having a healthy circle of friends, family, and society, and a lot more.

Our "well-being" can be decided and promoted effectively if we are healthy, well, and sound-minded. Health greatly affects people's daily lives. If we are healthy, we will be able to carry out and discharge our duties, work, and responsibilities effectively. If we are not healthy or are suffering from illness and other problems, we will not be able to carry out and discharge our duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently.

Somebody has rightly said, "A healthy mind lives in a healthy body."This saying is indeed very true. Our mind works effectively and efficiently when we are healthy, and vice versa.

Our health determines our relationship with others, our performance in any case, our efficiency, our effectiveness, our daily lives, etc. Being healthy or well is an important step on the road to achieving well-being for ourselves, our family, our friends, and eventually society. If people are healthy and sound-minded,  society will become peaceful.

Thus, by drawing up all the points, people should do the following things to be healthy:
■ Exercising, going to the gym, etc.
■ Eating healthy, nutritional, and right food.
■ Meditating.
■ saying, listening, and communicating the right things.
■ Keeping yourself aware of the problems you are facing and solving them at the right time.
■ Taking good care of your mental and physical health.
■ Engaging in right and healthy activities.

And so on...

Jai Hind - Tenzin Jambey

When I hear the word Jai Hind, my heart fills with pride and happiness. If we look at India, we will find that we are very far away from where our country started. Our India is developing day by day, but there are still many problems that arise in people's daily lives. Sometimes I really feel sad after seeing poverty, health issues, bad roads, corrupt ministers, and many other things.

How shocking it is that for the NEET examination, more than 17 lakh people appear, and the selection chances are only 7%. How shocking it is that more than 10 lakh students appear for the UPSC, out of which only 180 IAS are selected. How sad it is to hear that only 25000 students get selected for IIT, in which almost 11 lakh students compete.

We will find that in our country, we have many bright students who are willing to become doctors, engineers, and civil servants. Still, our country fails to have a good doctor and medical service in rural areas, and we fail to have a good government, although we have IAS officers. We fail to have proper roads and walking paths across our country, although we have so many engineers.

The harsh reality is that the people who have enough wealth and a proper position are serving each other. Even though millions of people in India are millionaires, problems like poverty exist.

We need to ask ourselves where we are going wrong. There must be a hole that needs to be filled in order to make our HINDUSTHAN better.

At last, we people need to support each other by forgetting all the differences we Indians have. How shameful it is that some people do not know where Arunachal Pradesh is located. Some say that it is located in northern India, and some say that it's in the south. Some people call the northeastern people Chinese. I wonder how having small eyes makes you Chinese, if it is so that people who have dark skin must be African and those who have fair skin must be Russian.

This all just does not make any sense. Why do we have to call each other by names because of their appearance? Aren't they humans?

Let's make our HINDUSTHAN stronger by holding the hands of each other, and the day when people of India will stay in unity with each other, that day I will climb up on a mountain and say "JAI HIND” with the national flag wrapping me.
