Aditya L-1 deploys a state-of-the-art Magnetometer in the Sun's Halo orbit

On January 11, 2024, the Aditya-L1 spacecraft accomplished the successful deployment of its 6-meter-long magnetometer boom in space at Lagrange Point-1. This milestone occurred 132 days after the satellite's launch, while it was positioned in a halo orbit at Lagrange point L-1.

Chandrayaan-3 lander serves as a location marker on the South Pole of the moon

On January 19, 2024, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced that an instrument on the lander has started serving as a "marker" near the lunar South Pole. The Laser Retroreflector Array (LRA), is being used as a fiducial point, to precisely locate the location of the lander on the Moon for reference.

India is working towards building its own space station, tests for it next year, said ISRO chief

ISRO plans to carry out tests, for the proposed 'Bhartiya Space Station', next year. Discussions are on with the manufacturers to launch its first module in the year 2028, ISRO chief, S Somanath, said on Thursday. Along with that, he announced to the media that, India's first Venus mission is also likely to be launched in 2028. "Venus mission has already been proposed once, we are looking at how to bring down costs. There are some high-value items, and we want to bring down the cost", the words of the ISRO chief.

Japan's explains how it made an upside-down moon landing

Japan became the fifth nation to land on the moon on Saturday, but its spacecraft ended up in an awkward and rather embarrassing position, with its engine nozzle pointed up toward space. By design, the Japanese spacecraft, known as Smart Lander for Investigating Moon or SLIM, was supposed to land on its side to avoid it tipping over on the sloping surface of the moon's landing site. "But, about 150 feet above the landing spot, one of SLIM's two engines appears to have failed", said officials at JAXA, the Japanese space agency.

Ingenuity, NASA's helicopter flying over Mars, ends its mission

The robot flew over 72 times, aiding the Perseverance rover in search of evidence that there was once life on the red planet. At least one rotor (robotic motor) broke down during the machine's most recent flight, last week, announced NASA officials on Thursday. But, Ingenuity is still in contact with its companion, the Perseverance rover, which has been exploring and excavating a dried-up river bed in search of 'extinct' Martian life. Sadly, Ingenuity will be left behind.

NASA's Perseverance rover confirms the presence of an ancient dried-up lake, that may hold clues for past life on the red planet

Evidence of ancient lake sediments was found at the base of Mars' Jerezo crater to give new hopes of finding traces of life in the samples collected by the Perseverance rover. The rover touched down on the crater on Feb. 18, 2021. Since, then, it has been on a continuous search for samples of extinct life on Mars.

Spirituality is spark of unique life - Tenzin Chonzom

It can mean searching for personal growth, religion, belief after death or making sense of one's inner dimensions... (Purpose in life / Holiness)

* How do I get a touch of spirituality..?
• Get out in nature
• Gratitude
• Serving others
• See good qualities in others..etc

What connects us at last after all the session is spirituality

Through the short videos...

About adopted child Avnish, the 9-year-old child who sealed Everest base camp and got prepared mentally and physically for the trek to change the mindset of a unique, abled child.

The lady with humble circumstances, known as Pemila Atkinson, devoted herself to serving the poor and learned how crucial volunteering is to the program. Her quote motivates me: "We should look for opportunities to make a difference in other people's lives, which makes a difference in our own because we all are connected to these lives." She didn't show any signs of slowness even in her retirement year.

From these videos, we could see their purpose in life and also their self-esteem, which is positive for our mental health and growth.

Myths Of Retirement - Rishona Chopra

PC-diywarads.com
Retirement; Young people often look forward to it and middle-aged ones dread it. To young ones, retirement seems to be about relaxation, peace, joy, television, vacation and all you ever wanted to do but couldn't. To middle-aged and working people, retirement seems to be synonymous with boredom, no work at all, loneliness, approaching death and the end of a career.
Being a young minor, I would definitely say that retirement seems to be relaxation and enjoyment but this perspective is quite unlikely for the ones who are in dire need of it.

Often people get rather upset, bored, and sad during retirement and invite problems for themselves and you can't blame them! They have been through a lot of changes in their life and change has never been easy to deal with.

Most people need a change of perspective and that's why it's important to know a few myths of retirement that may change one's perspective about it.

1st Myth: Retirement means the End of Work

Of course not! There is no age barrier to work! In fact, it's the perfect time to try out new things and explore your areas of interest! Create a new passion for yourself! And even if you don't find work to do instantly, it's always good to take a little rest. Relaxation may help you more and after years of work, you do deserve some!

2nd Myth: New Career Ambitions are for Young People

Nearly three out of five retirees launch into a new line of work after retirement! It's not because they need money but to stay mentally and physically active and more importantly do something they want to do. Age can never be a barrier and nothing else can if what you're doing is your true passion!
And something that happens after retirement is that you can just do things for yourself. Yes, we always feel the need to show others what we did but that's when we are free to do anything for our own happiness.

3rd Myth: Retirement Is A Time Of Decline

Well yes, you're growing old and ageing but you've still got a life to spend so live life happily and do things you never could. Yes indeed, you are approaching the end soon but this is the time to turn to spirituality if you already haven't. To actually regain yourself and know your true purpose. Not only will it help one embrace the "dreadful" time of death but also feel happy knowing that you have lived your life in crescendo. In a way, it's actually a sign that you need to do all the things in your life that you never did, relax and most importantly cherish these times!

Retirement is a phase of life like any other and it's a beautiful phase. A unique one.

Creating Opportunity For Yourself - Divyanshu Agrawal

The best way to create opportunities for yourself is to keep learning. Always be in the learning stage. Learning does not require any age or background. You have to create opportunities and set goals for yourself.

You should pay attention when something is happening or when someone is teaching. You should be disciplined in your work and come out of your comfort zone.

Always be in the habit of reading and be an ardent reader. Do not be afraid to make mistakes.

The Importance of Good Health - Ankit Raj

"Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities.”

This means that health is a resource to support an individual's function in wider society, rather than an end in itself. A healthful lifestyle provides the means to lead a full life with meaning and purpose.

Retirement- The Last Phase of a Life

Retirement- The Last Phase of a life

In this phase of life of retirement, we are not set to just enjoy our own selfishness by playing golf, partying, or travelling. Do these things, but remember that god has sent you into this beautiful world, in the most intelligent form of living, to do something for society as well. Do something for humanity and show empathy to the people who need it.

Help someone who is struggling with some kind of addiction; you can help some kids who are not able to afford education; you can teach them; you can just go to an old age home and talk to the people there.
It's up to you to decide what mark you want to leave on this world in your last phase of life.
At last, I would like to mention a very beautiful quote by Oprah Winfrey: "Use me, God! Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself. "
